I'm having problem on those "HID-like" H1 light bulb for my WRX. I burned out 3 pairs with in 2 months (mostly on driver side). my friend's Civic, Accord do not have the same problem with the same brand. ... Our Subbies doesn't like those aftermarket light bulb?

When you installed them, were you careful not to touch the bulb with your greasy fingers? If you didn't touch them and you haven't been burning out other brands of bulbs I would guess that they are just crappy bulbs.
