Hey Accurit, my check is is the mail, so make sure to count one of mine as sold.

what does it matter that they are not DOT approved? They LOOK stock so no police is even going to bother to look, and if they do... my car was imported from Canada so of course it isn't US spec.

mu ha ha.

Man I need those bad! I am strapped so I can't afford them right now. If you still have a set after X-mas(26th-27th) I will buy a set. I will for sure have the mula buy then. If you could hold me a set I would be your best friend.

Thanks Accurit Performance !!!!

I can't wait to get them!
I will post pics and details once they arive and are installed.

I am almost positive that these simply clip into the spot that is presently occupied by the front trim piece, no cutting involved.

These will look sooo sweet with my Morettes and the HID kit I received today.

Thumbs up

Those babies just pop in. The plastic molding piece just pops out then you pop these in. Very easy to install. Splice into your corner lamps up front and run the wire over your wheel wells to the sidemarkers. You will still need to pick up a set of connectors. Old legacy ones should work fine (92-94).

To get the wire from your cornerlamps up front to the side marker area it is easier to get a wire coat hanger , straighten it out and tape the wires to it then push them through over the wheel wells.

Looks sharp. If you have a black car you don't even need to paint them.

By the way people, don't be scared of these 'cause they aren't painted. As I recently learned, painting stuff is very easy and it would only cost about $8 for body-matched paint. I've already got all the supplies waiting.

Just talked to Sugar she has them for $8.50 each plus $4 shipping. She is going to get the wiring # for me today.

If you are going to need a harness and wiring email her so she knows there is some interest. I will buy from her because she is one the board alot and is really cool.

I talked to a guy today about making the markers blink and stay on with the running lights. He said just run the power from the running lights to the marker then splice in the blinker power. He said the light will stay on but get brighter when the blinker comes on. I have a voltage meter so I will check and see if he is right. He said the voltage is just higher with every blink so it will make the marker light blighter. I am also going to try this with my morretts to see if I can do the same with the blinker.

We need part number 84931AA130 and if there is some wiring to go with it. I don't really know for sure but we could start with this part #. If anyone else knows how to explain it better please do.

HIHO

That is the correct # for the socket. My local dealer says Subaru does not supply repair parts for the wiring harness: crimp-on connectors, plastic connector housings, etc. Subaru sells only the complete harness.
If this is true, I have two options:
1. Get used pigtails from the wreckers. There is a plastic connector housing under the hood, near the MT dip stick that fits the socket.
2. Get a bag of OE-style crimp connectors from Wurth or Bowman andd make up some light harness' that would require you to fill the connector-side of the socket with with RTV after you pushed the two connectors into place.

If I go with #2, I'll post the results.

Paul
