Default 97 tick tick tick

i drive a 97 LGt and i had my alternator replaced... then after that i noticed a ticking sound coming from what i geuss is my alarm box or somthing near the cluch pettle so i unpluged it. but now my door locks are all kinda weird
so how can i have it pluged in and stop that ticking sound

Plug it back in and use the reset button under the dash to reset the alarm. Or if you have a remote, just press unlock on the remote and the ticking (and lights blinking) will stop

I can't remember exactly on that car, but I know it is under the dash on the drivers side. Your owners manual should show a picture of where it is located
