Agile Protuned Stg2 w/ FMIC
This is a Stg 2 '05 Sti with the addition of an APS 525 fmic, Aps 65mm cold air intake, gm solenoid and one step colder plugs that we just tuned this morning.
The shown graph is at 20.5 psi on 93 octane with an 11.2 AFR. These are good middle of the pack Stg 2 numbers for our dyno although the FMIC may have been responsible for a little more hp than we normally see. The lower line was his baseline with the GM solenoid already installed so the car was running 18.5 to 19 psi on the Cobb OTS map. These were the highest numbers we've ever seen on the OTS mapping (the gm solenoid played some part but this car was very happy on the OTS maps and was running 100% of it's possible dynamic advance). -Hill www.agileauto.com

Why are you guys using a Gm boost solenoid? I read the thread and I'm just a little confused.
Is it able to hold boost without spiking or creeping maybe?Or just a cheap mod? |

Agile uses the GM solenoid on almost all there vehicles, it allows you run more boost and control it better than the stocker...
Great numbers for a Stg 2 tune Hill. We still need to hit Cecil this spring! |
