questions regarding STi Muffler

Hey guys I'm interested in getting the STi muffler that is available as an option for the 2002 WRX from dealer, and I was wondering........it says it improves performance, but does anyone know exactly how much power gain I get with this muffler? Is this the same muffler used on the WRX STi version?

uhrm.. last I checked the 2002 WRX brochure.. it was turbo'd.. aka forced induction.
