Default NEW PRICE FS: CT 98 RS-STi full swap

Up for sale.. my swap

1998 2.5 RS with Full USDM 05 STi Swap

vin# Jf1gm6754wh401879

Start off with, I did all the work myself and the car really turned out great. Full swap, from engine to tranny to dash and the whole rear
The engine and rest of the drivetrain has 36xxx miles on it, spark plugs were done while the engine was out, ngk iridium, new sti radiator was used, the tranny shifts smooth through all 6 gears and the car really goes off the line. The shell is around 80k, everything works, from the DCCD to the abs to the hvac minus the A/C, I have the compressor if you plan to use a/c. It has the sti dash with cluster, the 2.5rs radio is in there, the sti one is about 100 on NASIOC and the pass airbag is about 150, the airbag system needs a few components to be complete. I can help with that if needed The shell was clean to start, i have photos of the whole swap, no accidents or signs of rust, the right rear fender has a decent sized chip in it, i got a cel and no surprise it was the
cat, which isent there anymore because of the DP, the other code is emissions leak, this is because i did not hook up the canister correctly,
an hour and a diagram of the system will fix that, the harness was not just taped, it was SOLDERED!!! then taped, the only non solder was on the radio. OBD Port works, keep the questions coming,
Full turbo-back exhaust, cobb dp and borla catback, sounds nice! Spt Intake, bbs goldies 5X114 with toyo proxy with 2k on them, hawk hp new all around on the brembos with stainless STi brake lines, and a genuine 6 speed short throw from STi, SPT heat shield thats all for mods. It needs an alignment and a new rear boot on the right rear CV other than that its a great car. The suspension is off the 05 STi so you will get the occasional rub, a set of coilovers and a roll will fix that, im sure theres plenty of questions so either pm or email me bdr2488@comcast.net

You're really better off posting a starting point for price then just taking offers. Sometimes people have completely different ideas of what a car is worth.

Car looks clean. Got any under hood pics?

Unfortunately with modding a car you can never get back what you have into it. IT's not an RS with a brand new STI drivetrain it is a used car with a used drivetrain, STI or not. I'm not trying to pick you're price apart, just being realistic. If everyone that modded a car added the price of the mods to the value of the car no one would ever buy a modded car because it wouldn't be worth the price.

I wouldn't say you can't do it for under 20. If it cost over 20 no one would do it because you can get an STI for just over 20. You can pick up an RS for ~8 and you can get a crashed STI for ~8. Even if you blew 1k in incidentals you're still not at 20.

I dont want to fight over this, 18500 is where im going to start im open to offers, yes an rs for 8 and an sti for 8... maybe, im sure in the swap forums if you found one totaled with just major body issues they would be all over that, its hard to find them without something major wrong or MISSING, "If it cost over 20 no one would do it because you can get an STI for just over 20" thats not true some people like the older style, (like me) over the new style, they want a project and they take the challenge on,
I haven't seen many like this one, alot have sti engine not tranny, or the abs wont work or DCCD is messed up, this is really complete
again I dont want to fight over this.... thank you for the interest
