Question 2002 WRX security light flash, 2000 miles?

Anyone help me understand why the WRX's security light is flashing? My friend said he did a search. You can PM him if you like, his name is "subiscum"

Thanks,

Max

Does it flash all the time or something? The dash security light is supposed to flash when the alarm is activated/armed.

Your car is probably in "valet" mode. Look in the book and you'll see how it happened (holding down the button too long) and how to get out of it...

Is it a momentary flash at 1 second intervals or is it a constant and fast flashing light?

Read the manual....mine did the same thing, then I put it in silent mode after and it's nice and quiet until someone sets it off!
