Default How much labour is reasonable for this?

- replace canister purge solenoid

- replace 2 valve gaskets and an o-ring cam

Me thinks 1/2 hour for the first, what about the second?

Cool Valve gaskets?

I had leaky gasket after I got my car fixed. (bent two valves) and the first gasket they replaced was leaky. You have to make sure all the seals are water tight tho. That was the very reason why I had to go back. I had to get one replaced, and overall, it took the guy about an hour, and he's one of the best! But of course, you will have bad parts too. OEM doesn't necessarily 100% guarantee you from any problems. I think the big thing is, know what to take off. Definitely the window washer tank. I was looking over his shoulder while he was doing this, and woah. "aaah, so THATS what the inside of the engine looks like"
