Default Hella Supertones more high pitched than typical sets I've heard

I bought a pair of Supertones a few months ago.. hooked them up, tested them.. way high pitched.. tried a diff way of wiring, STILL high pitched.. tried 2 more other ways.. same result. am I doing something wrong? Possible to have purchased a faulty set? I don't mind, but my horns now sound MORE sissy than the stock.. definitely louder.. but more sissy sounding.

Look at the backs for one to be 300hz and the other to be 500 hz, you have two 500hz, I had the same thing happen to me and a friend I got horns for. They will warranty them.

Wow, you can hear 500MHz? And you're not a genetically engineered superbat? I mean, most people can't hear anywhere near 5,000,000Hz!

Strike the M, in other words, Hertz, not megahertz.
