Default bah

So I took out my door sills (both front and back) as I've been stripping my interior and felt that I didn't need these. Well, after taking them off, I noticed that there were a few white clips that were stuck in the holes where they snapped in. Well, I snapped a couple of them and they fell into what I thought was gonna be the sideskirt. So, I took the skirts off and the clips aren't there. I realized that they're now stuck in the part where the skirts snap into. Is there any way that I can get these out? They're driving me nuts everytime I drive my car as it contributes a lot of buzzing noise. Grrrrr!!!

there in there for good.

the part the sideskirt attaches to is called the "rocker" and its a closed box section made of steel. you could always cut it open to get them out but TRUST ME..... that would be just ..... overkill. there in there for good bro.

Totally a stupid suggestion here but it amused me so here it is:

get some of that foaming 'fix-a-flat' gunk and spray it into the holes in that rocker and it'll surround whatever fell in there and stop it from rattling...

THAT is some forward thinking!
Another option would be the mono foam!

mono foam would work much much better! the fix a flat is basically slime in a can. foam has more substance.

brilliant idea though guys. might even use that on my own car!!

Just be careful! That expanding foam has some pretty big expansion ratio. Put too much stuff in your rocker panel, you might have "foam" leak out other holes and gaps. It *could* also end up expanding the metal and/or cracking a weaker part.

As with any mod/suggestion on VIC - YMMV (your mileage may vary) and of course, don't blame armarpauld, lummer shawn or anyone else if you do use the foam and it damages your car. If you want, feel free to send me a private PM and swear your head off if something does break.

Good luck!

LaterZ!
Darren!!
