10 minutes later I see the same guy in a Chevy Cobalt in the lane next to me. The lane merges ahead, so I'd thought I'll show him some boost. He ends up getting a jump on me, but as soon as my car hit full boost I just flew past him.

I laughed a bit and said to myself "Only a 4 cylinder"

Yea i don't get a lot of those comments considering I just have the 2007 impreza 2.5i. I wish i had a turbo. I do get asked how it feels to drive an awd car all the time.

Me: No it's a WRX, its a 5 speed, the STI has the six speed (We are talking 2009)

Guy: Oh so it's a knock off of the STI then?

no.... it's a WRX, it's a different model than the STI.

Guy: No I'm pretty sure its a knock off, Subaru doesn't make any 5 speeds. Well have a good day!

Started talking to this girl, she hadnt seen my car. My display picture is my car, so she was like OMG you drive a SUBIE?! I was already impressed.

We've gone out on a couple dates, she always says how much she loves the car. She's also takin me to a few cool driving roads where she'll be like you drive, i love when you drive! - again, awesome girl

I'm going to the track this weekend. i said itll be interesting to see what passes me in the straight (i have 0 track experience, im expecting to get my A** handed to me). She was like well the problem is you'll have the turbo lag, i was like no im talking about teh straight.. she was like yeah, you'll get turbo lag.. she insisted that ill be experiencing lots of lag in the top end of my car on a straight? not quite, but atleast shes cute and likes cars

I was down at the local DIY car wash doing detail work out back in the shade when some couple pulls up to vaccum out their car. Guy walks over and starts with all this "nice car man" "how much are you gonna put in it?" (talking money, he thought I'd total around 80K when done, mind you this is my DD.

) So I explain to him my plans, what it'll about run me (Mind you I mention STi intercooler, STi pink injectors)..

he ask to look under the hood, so I tell him to pop the hood. after having a look at a 99% stock engine bay, his response is "alright man, that's great I really like it. I just had to stop and see your evo when I pulled in"

really? like really? the subaru badges and **** didn't give it away?

I was so dumbfounded I just nodded as he walked away.
