Oh, I thought he was talking about one of the guys at the meet. I Thought it was strange that he would say that. I must have been talking to someone when that guy came because I never saw him or his altima.

Sorry ianfools, my bad

Good to hear Aspen_rex! Look forward to meeting you.

I'm defintely gonna try to make it. I'll have wifey drive the Baja and I'll take my 300zx. Been waiting for quite some time for somebody to put a regular meet together around here, much appreciated!

BTW, this thread has me slightly confused as to where exactly we're meeting? Could somebody please specify. Oh, and I would also be interested in meeting at the new shop, love to support the local guys.

The meeting spot is at the price chopper on route 9 in poughkeepsie. Across from Toys R Us and the blockbuster. Bout 1 minute north of where Spackenkill road intersects with Route 9. Dunno if that helps, but I tried.

To the owner of the White STI I saw and briefly spoke with today,

That was a nice clean looking STI you got there. Are you coming out this Friday night to the meet?

I always wave to STI's and I use to wave at WRX's but found that a lot of them did not wave back. This is because a lot of people driving WRX's aren’t car enthusiasts like us. So now I usually wait until they wave first, then I will wave back. Same goes with the other Subaru models. That being said, I probably didn't wave because I didn't see you BrodeurDB, where were we when this happened?

my bad bro ^ lol

Hey Bort where was I when you saw me, I know a while back I saw a blue wrx, bugeyed, with HID, and looked like an HKS exhaust. I always park in the side lot, way out in the middle of nowhere.

Vinny, I couldv'e been mistaken, maybe it was someone else. It was right near the Boces on that back road..Think its called salt point tpk. prob wrong.

I know what you mean because I barely now wave at wrx's because they end up being middle-age guys who stare at me crosseyed when Im waving. Always wave at STI's because they always show the love...

Well everyone, weather wise itís not looking to good for Friday.
Just incase it does rain please, don't loose interest in this meet idea just because we loose this Friday. Lets all keep the enthusiasm and interest for this show. Like I said earlier, it is going to take a few weeks to get this meet up and running. And the first few shows are the most important. So if not this Friday then we all just meet next Friday, or the one after that, whatever it takes.

You (if it was you) were idling on the little circle between CBI and Washington. This was a few weeks ago on a Wednesday evening. There was a blue bugeye up toward the top of lot D near the track at 6:30 this evening.

Good it wasnt you!

And yea even though this friday may be a bust, Im really still up for it . Hell Im on 9 every friday night anyways doing something.I just dont want it to turn into a dunkin doughnut on route 9 thing, when every ricer and there ricer brother comes out. Im ok if others want to show up, im prob bringing my friend in his 240 anyways, I just would hate to see it turn into a rice fest.

Rather it be a bunch of real car enthusiest, just chilling out, talking cars, not having a bunch of ricers challange us to a races and random kids showing up lol.

I couldn't agree more. That was the whole point of this meet. A big group of Subaru enthusiasts hanging out with there cars. And if a couple of other cars of different make show, thatís cool just as long as they are cool.

FreNetiC WRX - Sorry, I didn't pay real close attention to the car because I was just trying to catch up to you to tell you about the meet.

I have actually printed up flyers and have been handing them out to people and leaving them on Subaru's windshields (not all Subaru's of coarse, just ones that look like they would be interested in this sort of thing). If anyone that is coming to the meet wants some flyers to hand out just let me know a head of time and I will bring some for you.

Thatís funny. I saw another white Wrex or STI yesterday on RT 9 in Wappingers Falls, was that you too? If it was, thatís pretty crazy that we keep bumping into each other. And its not like it's in the same place all the time but in totally different locations. Stop Fallowing me!!!
