Copy that. I'm gonna bring my video camera and get some shots of us cruising there, and of the event. If anyone doesn't have a 2 way radio I have a spare plus one that needs 3 AAA batteries. (I don't have any).

Subi2.5- I think we'll be gone by then. I'd say you should think aboit cruising with us. The 48hrs event had about 50 cars and had to break it up into 3 groups to prevent congestion. I can almost gaurentee the danbury group will go in one big cluster ****. But its up to you.

And jimmy, don't even start with the exhaust. I was gonna have the Q300 on the car for the meet, but it was one train wreck after another for this event. Got the tint and stubby antenna done tho. Lol.

Yeah, I went to Solar Shades. It came out really good. No issues at all. Took 3 hours to do and came to a total of $205 after tax. A lil pricey.

Anyone interested in a set of '04 BBS's in gold? They're a bit rough but no bends or cracks.

Just wanted to say Hi to you guys I've seen around the Newburgh/Poughkeepsie area in the last month.

I've seen a lot of STi and WRX's around lately and being a proud new owner I've gotten waves or wavebacks from every single person I do it to. This is a rare phenomena coming from the secretive, ******* Honda crowd that almost never shows love.

I've been too busy to show up at this meet, although I've been tracking it and it seems like its kinda dying? lol

Congrats on the leap to a real car. lol. But yeah, the Subaru community is night and day from others. I must say tho, with the cost of some of the older ones going down, the Honda **** are starting to buy them and the wave is fading (not knocking on you at all, just the way it is). When I first bought my bugeye, everyone waved. Now, you'd be lucky if half do.

Meet isn't dying. It just has its times. I'll PM you back.

Can anyone recommend a good exhaust shop? I need some custom work for a midpipe and axleback. Need a custom midpipe and pipe replaced on the axleback.

Yeah, def feels more substancial in terms of features compared to my RSX-S. I'll miss its raw, driver oriented, no frills performance but I needed to get out of that crowd even though I tried my hardest to never be associated with them. This def feels right and has been a blast so far and I'm happy.

Glad the meet is alive too, I'll have to make time for a few of them.

I've had good results from Meineke in Newburgh on Rt. 300. They're a little pricey imo but they'll work with you till you like the way it works.

I've had them do multiple exhaust jobs for me. Once was a custom b-pipe. And the other was minor adjustments to a exhaust/header combo that didnt fit 100% perfectly. They worked with me till they got it the way I like it and thats generally how they do business.

They get a lot of tuners there so they handle this a lot. I would definitely give them a call, they generally don't give prices over the phone and want to see the job before they quote so expect to travel.

Thanks, I'll stop over there, they're close enough to me and I'll be in the area Thursday anyway. Looks like an exhaust shop just opened up near my house too. I'll stop there and ask too.

There's a place in Saugerties that does repair for Ruges Subaru ,I've seen thier work and I was impressed. I think he charges 90 per and only does a full set at a time(4). Then I heard there was a place in Hyde Park but didn't do any research on him. Then theres a guy in New Rochelle(westchester co.) That does them separate but charges somthing like 120 per. If u want I can get u the guy in Saugerties number tomorrow.

There's a wheel place near me in Montgomery. I'll see if I can get the # on my way past them next time.
