That seems to be the general consensus. Maybe I'll just have someone hold the brake while the car is in gear and see if that does it. If not I'll try cranking it over.
Anything else I should look out for? I've done a few tbelt jobs, but never on a Subaru. The belt has all the appropriate marks for the cam gears yes?

Check out the how to section on iwsti, I did a write up when I did mine with pics and whatnot. Way easier than I thought, especially with an extra set of hands.

When I did mine, I just had someone step on the brake and used a breakers bar with a pipe on it for leverage. Came off easy. Hardest part for me was aligning the damn set key(or whatever you call that slot.)

Does anyone have a stock front grill badge I can have? I want to try something, but can't find my old ones. Would be much appriciated.

I have a bunch of new badges, a little bigger than the impreza grille badge. I think theyre the size if the Tribeca grille stars.

Hey steve. Yeah, I would appriciate it if you don't mind. I want to try something but don't want to mess up something someone cares about. Does that badge have the mounts for the holes in the trunk? Or just tape?

Anyone else have a grill badge I can have?

I'm still planning on going for a drive on sat for anyone that wants to com along.

I was planning on coming out tonight and now it looks like rain for sure. Is the meet at the normal spot tonight? Figures I actually had off tonight. Took off so my son and I could go to the American Lemans at Lime Rock Park tomorrow. At least itís supposed to be real nice tomorrow.

I believe that is the same guy my brother in law was gonna use, however he was crazy expensive. It was $250 to fix a 2in curb rash and he had to supply the paint or he couldn't guarantee color match.

Ok, well, installed the cobb sri on the sti (needs the cobb map to run right) and went to plug in the accessport into the car, and it won't turn on. Bring it in the house and plug it into the computer, turns on. So I'm figuring its the cable. So I call everyone that I have their phone number that has a version 2. No one is home, figures. So later I stopped by Steve's house and use his cable and plug it into his car, nothing. So it has to be the connections inside the unit. I'm going to call Cobb today and tell them to overnight me a new one. Hole weekend off, and couldn't drive my car, ugh. I know, I could still drive it or I could put stock back in, but didn't want to waste my time.

On, so executed stupid idea number 1 yesterday also. For those that weren't at the rain meet, or forgot what one that is, (lol, my stupid list) its to put fog lights on my beater. Well, took my time and did it rifght, aimed them the best I could during the day. Last night on my way to work, tried them on and off and wasn't impressed. The beams weren't very focused and didn't provide much light. They were H3 bulbs. So I think I'm gonna take them off today and return them.

Went hiking at Cornishes on sat with Dan and his girl. For those that don't know its off 9D right by the tunnel. We went up over the tunnel and striaght up to the third summit and came down through the burnt down farm. Still sore from it. Woulda been better if I could drive up there. Lol. Was fun tho.

So yeah, that was my weekend. What was everyone else up to? I heard Amy finished second in class. Let us know how it went.

It went well, I got to clean the AutoX cobwebs outta my brain. We all had 9 runs that day, which is a lot. I probably could have gotten first if I had one more run. Meh, excuses! Handed out a few business cards for ya too!

Video of my fastest run:
