Yep...raise car, remove, compress, disassemble, reassemble, reinstall, lower car, drive away Takes 30 mins max per corner with help from a friend, 45 mins per corner with help of Jack Daniels.

I'd be happy to stop by and lend a hand as well.

I appreciate the offer guys! I don't know when I'd have the time.

Dropping the car off and picking it up is a lot easier for me due to my schedule.

I probably should just do it myself (with some help of course) so I can get some experience working on my own car.

I still haven't decided if I want to swap out the stock struts when I have the springs installed.

Would the SPT Performance Strut Set be a nice upgrade from the stock struts?

BTW, I'm going with Crucial Racing Sport Springs. I've got them sitting in my garage just waiting for me to decide what I'm going to do.

Also, do any of those shops do alignments?

PDXTuning does i think...

but i would recomend Alex who works at the Lake O Les Schwab.

it would take at max 2 hours to do this job, shop charges will be 70-90 dollars an hour, and they charge like 3-4 hours, the dealer charges 6 i think....

i will help you do it for 1 case of beer in trade

It really is a 2 hour job...an easy weekend morning job. When Dave wants to help, you should let him Can't say enough about him

You've got brand new struts already, you probably won't gain too much from swapping them if you only plan the springs, but if you do, try to go for something adjustable. You may see a bigger overall improvement with them if you also plan some of the other basic suspension mods -- swaybars, endlinks, etc.

I'm not familiar with the springs, I would ask Crucial what they recommend for a strut...the manufacturers usually design them specifically for the OEM's or specifically to be used with an aftermarket strut. The Crucial guys are awesome and won't steer you wrong
