Default TurboXS turbo back exhaust install ?'s

I should be able to install this my self right? (Downpipe, midpipe, and cat-back) It shouldn't be as hard as people say installing a new uppipe is. I am thinking about buying it from TurboXS in early to mid January so i can upgrade to Stage 2. (298hp) Do I have any takers on helping me? Just checking and trying to get some info cause it is going to cost way too much to get done by a local shop.

Later guys,
~ Joe

the mid-pipe and the rear section should not be hard at all. I am not sure on the uppipe though.

I am pretty sure that scoobymods.com has instructions for how to take off the downpipe, either that or check our northursalia.com. The other two should be no problem. I put on a Scoobysport cat-back- it had thicker flanges, so the old bolts wouldn't work. I had to get some new ones, but that was the only problem I had. If you're going to take off the downpipe, how are you planning on passing emissions?

You don't think I would pass emissions? At least I would have a high flow cat. But I just don't know....what about everyone else that has a MRT exhaust or a BPM or some other turbo back...do they all fail emissions or do they all just go back to the stock exhaust for the test?

Later,
~ Joe

Hi,

The install is very straightforward with the exception of the turbo heat shield, which you will more then likely have to modify.
Yes, the down pipe is much easer then doing an up pipe.

Joe,
I just assumed that the turbo-back kit was just piping and a muffler (no cat), but if they give you a high-flow cat, then I would assume it would pass emissions, esp since turboxs is in MD. It's worth asking, though.
