I'm trying to sell my Ludespeed kit and was asked if it would work on a 2002 RS...IIRC the exhaust wont work (cat back) but I think everything else will.... please help, I dont want to mislead this individual.

I don't see why not, the engine is the same. The exhaust WILL work, the down pipe is what the catback will connect to, not the stocker.
I think the engine, tranny, and AWD system are identical between my car, and the 2002 RS. |

like an inch or so. If they are at all competent, a Muffler shop should be able to bend the hangers to fit. I think the bends are the same.

The exhaust hangers are in different locations between the GD* and the GC8 I believe. I know the WRX cat-back meets up in a different location than the pre-MY02 RS catback. I don't know if they kept the WRX and MY02 RS catbacks the same though.

He would need new hood. 2002 rs's don't have hood scopes.

the hood is the easy part, I was more concerned with mechanicals lining up and so forth.....there is a potential buyer with an 02 RS
