Default I LOVE my Legacy

I know - we have all been there..

T intersection, Wet roads, I have a stop sign, person to my left turning left and needing enough room to drive a 70's wagon with airstream. - it was actually a civic!

I waited and waited for them to turn, 5 minutes, 10.... Lots of room - no movement... So..

At a good space I floored the car - she bit and threw me forward, as I crossed the apex I cut hard, let off the gas and went from understeer to oversteer. I floored it again - straightened out and was gone. I bet they did not even see me go by and they are still there waiting to turn.

I know... I was pretty sure she would not have moved based on previous experience and there was lots of room.

The car is just so predictable, bone stock...

My 60K warantee is now over so the fun is about to start.

Where is the snow!!!!!

Happy Legacy Owner

Default 60K on a 2000.....wow

That was a nice move, I've done that before exiting my gym's parking lot.
Except, I left shortly after a Bimmer had left and he saw me throw my rear out (understeer) in his rear view. It made him step on his brakes (to make me aware he was there) thinking I was gonna rear end him or something. What a paranoid dude.
Anyways......I see you hit 60K in your 2000 Legacy. I'm at 49K and I thought I drove alot.

FWIW Meko, "throwing the rear out" is oversteer, not understeer. Not flaming you...

Today in the Puget sound area we have something odd going on: Sun, LOTS of it. But what is even better is the COLD DENSE AIR that our motors love.... Sun and Cold Air make for the BEST driving conditions. Unfortunatly, running redline and having fun has eaten through a quarter tank of gas this afternoon alone... BUT, with prices as low as they are in that arena, I ain't complaining much.

NOBODY expects the green wagon to throttle-steer a corner and take off like a bat out of hell....

The snow is in the Sierras!!! About 2 feet of the dry stuff at Sugar Bowl, but you'll need some Rossi's or Salomons to enjoy it and leave the Legacy in the parking lot!! Couldn't resist!:monkey:
