Default Chicago: 42" Panasonic Plasma TV W/ Best Buy Warranty

So, like my other parts for sale i need some money freed up for my shortblock and heads so I'm selling my pride and joy, my panasonic TH-42PX60U. It's a 42 inch panasonic HDTV with two hdmi inputs, built in tv-tuner, very nice surround speakers (surround replica), the works. I bought it for 999 dollars on the day after thanksgiving, and bought the 200 dollar 3-year extended warranty. Thats a total of four years including the manufacturers warranty, full coverage. If it breaks, they physically come to your house to fix it. Like i said this thing is my pride and joy and is absolute immaculate condition. Never seen a video game and rarely plays dvds. it has very low hours on it and works great. Again, i can't stress that it is in perfect condition.

Included is warranty information, reciept, ORIGINAL BOX, original packing, everything. I'm located in Elk Grove, il, 60007. Can ship but will probably be around 100 dollars.

http://reviews.cnet.com/Panasonic_TH...-31788615.html

Total for me came to 1290 and i'm asking for 1000. Will also consider trades.

EDIT: BTW i got it for 999 because i sat outside best buy in 40 degree weather on thanksgiving for 12 hours on black friday and got the absolute last one. This TV still retails for more than 1400 dollars at stores and the plans for tvs more than 1000 dollars are 299 not 199, so this tv bought from best buy right now with plan would be at least 1500 dollars if not more. I went through a LOT of trouble to get this tv for a steal and am passing on the savings to you.

ehh depends on how much cash but i'm not a huge fan of spending alot of money on little circles that tell me the same things my glowshifts do

thanks for the bumps kills me to get rid of this baby i love tv lol

Its a really good size btw, not too big for a bedroom, but big enough for a living room. Only about 75 pounds so one person could manhandle it around. I had a 50" samsung and it was a B to move. The extra 8 inches add about 60 pounds lol

Not a bad deal. If you still have it in a few weeks, I may be interested. I'm in the process of selling my house and moving in with a buddy (tons cheaper!) and will be looking for a new TV (selling my 10yr old 50" rear projection Mitsu for $400!). Good luck on the sale! I'll hit you up when the time comes if you end up having bad luck and can't unload it. Haha.

So pick it up "new" for cheaper than what he wants. I would never buy anything from Grant's anyways, but have at it!

I *Think* this TV has an over-the-air tuner.. which means you can get local channels broadcast in HD. Still going to need a cable box to get a million channels

IF what you mean is if has an HD tuner built in? yes. you do not need an HD box to get HD, but you will need one to take full advantage of what this tv has to offer, I get almost every channel i watch in HD instead of a few select programs on a few select channels.

You HAVE to watch a baseball game in hd...

Highly, highly doubt it.. unless you have a cable service I've never heard of

Comcast, for instance.. has eleventy billion channels, and for $5 more a month.. you get like 5 "Always HD" channels.

Some sports channels are always HD for free, some are not.. some (Like WGN), don't know what the hell they are. Basically they're cable transvestites.

Long story short.. not all channels from an "HD box" are "HD". They look great, sure.. but aren't "HD"
