well, it's time I made a thread, since I've got a better job in my field of work and new wheels (which I won't be rollin' on til spring, for obvious reasons) lol. I bought the car in '09 from a female
I was a little surprised, but I later found out that another Subaru enthusiast dated her, which made sense with all the little mods that were done to it when I bought it haha. I won't really be modding this thing much more, if at all since it's N/A (here comes the flaming)***Also, note that my name does not reflect my car in any way hahaha it was just a random name that I regret to this day! Rear struts, bearings or mounts or something are shot, IDK its gay maybe you, Nasioc can help me diagnose the exact problem. HUGE mod list: Lowered on Tein springs Blackened headlight housing 'Custom' 2.5" cat back exhaust that I made with a friend, (includes 5" stainless truck tip looool) which rattles now and again and could probably use the STI muffler I've got laying around Rally Armor Urethane Mud flaps for all that rallying I do  lol 1/4" (I don't actually know, I'm just guessing) Aluminum skid plate, that has saved me a few times over the winters. Only downfall is that a couple nuts that were welded to the frame where it mounts have broken off, causing the bolts for the plate to basically just hang there ![]() Oh well, it rattles once in a while, I'm not too worried ATM. If I find time, I'll re-weld them, but for now it is fine. AEM Cold Air Intake, makes cool sounds once in a while yada yada Shaved WRX trunk with spoiler 17x9 Rota DPT's wrapped in 205/50/R17 westlake tires. They seem grippy, compared to my suuuuper cheap all seasons. Aaaannd they barely rub. I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing when it comes to fitment but whatev I'm pretty sure the 7" fogs are aftermarket, but who knows :? haha I think that's it, iPhone pics FTW: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() It's amazing the look this car has now with those wheels. Best purchase yet. even over the car!

I've seen other bug eye's with way smaller fogs so that's why I'm wondering haha. Also, I just remembered they are Hella 1000FF. No idea if that is stock or not

Plus that model of Hella's has that sort of opaque look to them. Stocks are clear. Looks nice btw. Always neat to see someone else modding a N/A that doesn't really care about going fast lol

The picture from the front showing the fogs has them with rock shields on them so that makes them look a lot more opaque. they still are a little bit but not as much as with the shields.
haha thanks man. As fun as a turbo would be, I'm more worried about looks and handling right now for auto cross. A turbo, in my opinion, won't get you around a corner any faster. |

hahaha yeaaa. Most average cars these days don't have more than 170 hp anyways so with the little mods to free up some power you can do pretty good with passing and what not. Plus these things sound sick with or without a turbo so you're always turning heads

K, so a little update for y'all:
Over the passed couple months I've made a few changes to my car as planned. I bought those raceland coilovers and installed them in december. To be honest, they are great! Very comfy and not too stiff, would highly recommend to anyone who wants cheap coils for a daily. Next thing I did was buy a random lip off ebay, which also turned out great! haha I also got a 6000k Bi-Xenon HID kit, which made a HUGE difference while driving at night. My alignment with the wheels isn't very agressive, lol. I did, however roll and pull the fenders quite a bit (with basically no paint chipping! ). But yeah, the front wheels are at 0* camber and the rear is only approx -2*, just enough so the wheels don't rub. Gonna increase the negative camber in the front though for handling purposes and if I need to fit some meatier tires.I also, still have a stainless muffler that I plan on welding on, when I become motivated lol Pics: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Thanks for stopping by to check out my super low and super slow RS ![]() |

Nice Car. But using LOL in every other sentence doesn't make sense. Why would you laugh out loud at redundant statements?
LOL |

Maybe you just have something against using "lol" because I said "haha" plenty more times than "lol." Personally, I don't see how they don't make sense, but really why care about such pointless things?
Thanks for the few kind words about my car though. |

Yeah I still have 205's on them and they don't rub. Without fender work, I couldn't put the wheels on because it would rub 98% of the time. After rolling/pulling though, its gravy haha

Thanks man, I appreciate it! Sold the car now though. I sure do miss it as a daily, but I needed to get into the drifting scene, so I bought a built S14
I'll always have a place for subaru's in my heart though haha. Link to your build thread? |
