Post Introduction (new Portland area RS)

Well, I've already posted one intro on the main message board, and written two replies in the NW forum, so I'm probably late on this, but per Subie Gal's recommendation, I thought I say hi to the other NW folks..

I'm a proud new MY00 2.5RS Silverthorn Sedan owner, apparently one of only a few Imprezas in the whole Portland area. It's my first Subaru so I feel honored to be among the elite ranks...

So if you see a silver 4dr MY00 RS in the Portland/Vancouver area, especially on I-84 or I-205, it's probably me..

moo.

Welcome Moo... It is nice to see the numbers growing in the Portland Area. Currently in the time I have lived here (since January) I have only seen 2 RS's... (a few GT's and tons of Outbacks and Outback sports... I think the Outback Sport is Portlands #1 car. I see more of these then any other car on the damn road)

So welcome Maybe I will pass you. Though I mostly drive in the Beverton Area...

Oh I have a BRP '00 Sedan...

Don't get that mixed up with my '00 BRP sedan. I just got mine last week and love this car. I was driving tonight right past Beaverton Toyota and a new white sedan still with the temp plates from Carr had just rear-ended someone. Hood was messed up a bit. Totally sucks. He'll be back on the road soon though.

Welcome Moo, (even thought that I don't own a Subaru). I'm sure you'll enjoy being part of this club, I wish the car I drove had a nice club like this one.

This might be a dumb question to ask but, what is a BRP Sedan? If its a obvious thing that only I have no clue what it is, just for the record I drive an A/H car, so that would be my reason.

Welcome.......I too am a proud owner of a MY00 2.5RS Sedan. Mine is Blue Ridge Pearl.....not my first color choice, heck I didn't have a choice, it was take it or leave it. Living in Alaska there are lots of Subarus, this is my second one. In my area there are 3 Blue Ridge Pearl Sedans and one coupe......kind of funny when we all park at the same place. Enjoy your RS, I do mine, haven't had it quite 2 months and already have 4300 miles on it.

Thanks Ryan, when I was trying to figure it out, I never thought of it that way. I'm pretty stupid in the abbreviations in the first place though, it took me a while that ITR stood for Integra Type R.
