I agree... marketing girls tend to have a lot of attitude... kinda like the whole "What did you just say?!?!"

When I went there (like 2 years ago) there were about... 2 hot ones. The hot ones usually get weeded out after 1st year though... so you really gotta work it during first term.

i was there for a year and a half until this term which i desided to take off. i'm going back in september in a new program. (mechanical engineering)

i always used to see two wrb wrx's that liked to park beside each other. one had gold rotas and the other had OZ. one of em also had a carbon fiber hood and rear defuser.

there is also that GC with the big silver sti decals all over the sides. that car is pretty sweet. oh and i also used to see a white 03-05 TS wagon with rear disc brake conversion and gold RS 5-spokes.

i'll see you guys in september!

way to go shawn!!!

and there are no girls in engineering. i always knew if i was in the wrong room when there was more than 2-3 girls in a class of 80...

I'm a Marketing Management alum. 1994 - 1996. Small business / technical sales option.

Great school, except I wouldn't recommend anyone going right out of high school like I did. Wait a couple of years and get some crappy job experience under your belt. Then when you enroll later on, you will appreciate what you are studying and working towards that much more.

Totally. I was still 17 when I first started that Sept 1994.

I barely had a concept of what the real world was, and that's what BCIT's specialty is... real world training. A crash course in corporate survival tactics and education that matters.

At the very least it teaches you time management. when I told UBC students that I had 30 hours of classes a week and 7 courses a semester, they looked at me like I was lying.

Tough for a Uni kid to comprehend.
