Default SCCA Rallycross in New Mexico

The SCCA, Rio Grande Region is starting a rallycross series in New Mexico. We are currently planning to utilize a site just south of Belen. I am attempting to schedule our first event early to mid-February. If you are interested in participating please keep an eye out for this thread or send e-mail to sergeant_v@yahoo.com to be placed on a distribution list.

rally on!

Thumbs up The Rallycross Series is a sure thing!

The SCCA Regional Executive and I evaluated the site last weekend. The surface is terrific. The first series event (for cumulative points through the season) will take place on Sunday March 17th. I'm working on setting up a "test and tune" day on February 17th, but it will be limited in size. If you are interested in the February event be sure to let me know as soon as possible. I'll post a link to the series announcement and supplemental regulations as soon as the SCCA executive board approves it. Plan on an event every other month through December!

lets organize our schedules!!! I haven't yet finalized the AZ sched, but I expect to have 6 events. How far away are you from Phx? What SCCA exec board are you waiting for approvals from, and what approval? If I'm available, I may be able to help with stuff, I have a trailer full of rally organizing stuff..

Bill,

I'm planning for a minimum of six events. Two of the events are likely to be part of the Rocky Mountain Division Championship. The exec board I'm waiting on is regional. We're Rio Grande Region and until this gets off the ground have been a strictly SoloII club. The RE is 100% behind this effort. I'm waiting on the regional board's approval of the supplemental regulation for the series. Your help will be much appreciated. I can guarantee that we won't be scheduling events for the first weekend of the month. I'm not sure what the Solo folks are planning for their schedule yet and need to check with them before I start setting dates beyond March. Phoenix is a whopping 400 miles from our rallycross site.

Here's the link to the Rio Grande Region Rallycross Series. Let me know if you want to drive in the February event.

Bump! I'm still waiting on the final "go-ahead" for a February test and tune event. Regardless, the first "series" event will be in March. Let me know if you're interested.

Thanks Bill. I'll be sure to keep you in the loop. BTW are you going up to Georgetown, CO for the ice race on January 20th?
