Default Need some opinions please!

Hi everyone,

I drive an 03 wagon and I want to get my fenders rolled or cut. What do you guys suggest? I've read that rolling fenders is kinda risky because of the weak paint. What about cutting the fenders? Does it cost a lot more compared to rolling? Anyone had any experience with rolling or cutting?
Feedback is greatly appreciated!

BTW: I'm looking to run 235/40/18 tires and 18x7.5 rims.

Thanks!
Carson

I personally haven't heard or experienced anything with paint issues when rolling the fenders, should be fine. If you have the control and strenght for it, you can even roll em by bare hand.

I'm interested in rolling my fenders too as I do get some rub from my fronts. I'm running 225/40/18 on 18x7.5 rims for reference.

As Ted mentioned, PDM has a proper fender rolling tool.... as opposed to using a round bar as I'm sure some places do.

Thanks a lot guys! I'll give PDM a call for pricing.

Does anyone run 18s with 235 rubber on a wagon? Just curious.

On nice thick paint jobs like you find on Audi's and BMW's etc the paint is prone to cracking/flaking because it is thicker it doesn't like to flex. But on thin paint jobs like Honda's and GM's it's less likely to do it.

I would be worried about rolling or cutting the fender cause of our weather here, is so wet, it will just make it rust out in no time. If I lived in Vegas or somewere where it's dry I would do it in a second...
