Default RCE springs on stock struts

Wondering if anyone just ran the RCE springs with your stock struts on a WRX tr. If so, are the stock struts able to handle the more aggressive springs? Would they blow out? After maybe 20-30k miles?

thanks for your input

they will the under damped for the weight of the springs. If you want to keep your stock struts, try looking into a set of USDM Pinks or STI takeoff's. Beyond that, try a set of Koni inserts.

Don't do it. Get Tokicos or Konis or Ohlins if you want to run the RCE springs on your WRX.

Ah, sorry, didn't know that. Then they'll probably be more than 'slightly' used. Hey, I just learned something new today.
