Default I want a Stainless Steel Exhaust!

It seems like most vendors advertise only the mild steel stomung, with the exception of Cobb Tuning- they're kind of ambiguous about it, so I don't really know WHICH one they are selling. The iON web site has been down for a while, so I don't know what the price of a Brullen is, although I do know that CRAZY KEN has been waiting for a looong time on his. So what's a Legacy owner to do? Head to my local shop and have them custom pipe a Borla or what?

Default WHY AM I WAITING:

Lucien2...2.5GT told me GTBGUY (Jack) has a complete exhaust system...equal length headers, high flow cat & cat back exhaust...that's what I am saving up for and I am still settling the situation with my original vendor about ordering that catback Brullen...I learned my lesson go direct with Jack!

So when I do get the complete system, I will be selling my Borla Header and Stromung rear section.

Cool I guess it's my time to chime in!

Ok guys Looks like everyone's anxious to get an exhaust for the Legacys! Anyways... here's the scoop.

There're two tuning routes you guys can pursue.

1) Naturally aspirated (ie: equal length headers + hi-flow cat+ catback)

2) Turbo (ie: minimum 2.5" piping most likely 3").

I guess I should start setting up a GB for the Brullen systems now!

Ok for the N/A combo this is what's included :
(a) Brullen Equal-length Header (ceramic coated)
(b) Hi-flow cat
(c) 2.25" Brullen Cat-back w/ Single 4" tip (any acoustic preference)

This package together will runs ~$1599US + shipping (retail)
normal i-Club discounted price for the package comes to ~$1399US + shipping.

For a GB of 5 people : it drops to $1249US shipped
For a GB of 10 people : it drops to $1199US shipped.

*Note : For those who want to have 2.5" piping for the cat-back section, add $35US*
**Note : For those Legacys MY00-up or BD/BG's w/o rear valence, you can choose to get Dual 3" tips, but that's an additional $30US**
***Note : shipping only inclusive of continental north america***

Ok for the turbo/forced induction group you get the following :
2.5" Brullen Cat-back w/ Single 4" tip. (any acoustic preference)

Retail on the system is : $699US + shipping
i-Club Discounted Price is : $549US + shipping

For a GB of 5 people : it drops to $549US shipped
For a GB of 10 people : it drops to $499US shipped.

*Note : For those who want to have 3" piping for the cat-back, add $50US*
**Note : For those Legacys MY00-up or BD/BG's w/o rear valence, you can choose to get Dual 3" tips, but that's an additional $30US**
***Note : shipping only inclusive of continental north america***

Default Choice #1 for me Jack

Are you going to honor the price, my "original vendor", was going to sell the cat-back Brullen for? If so, how much extra would I be paying for the High flow cat and equal length headers? Plus what would shipping be? PM me the pricing ... since I'm your "Dy Low" alright "pok gai" talk to you soon!

Hey Jack,

Count me in on the ceramic headers for my '97 per our chat the other day .... ... guess I should add the Hi flow cat to go with the cat back exhaust too ... Brunell all the way!

Would those headers clear a skid plate? Or do they hang down lower than stock headers?

Default Update

Here's a little update :

As a bonus for getting in on the GB, we'll also give you iON Performance urethane exhaust bushings with the exhaust. The only thing you'll need to pay is ~$5US for shipping.

remarcable - you'll most likely need to add some washers on the mounting bolts for the header to clear, maybe about 4-5 1/32" washers should do the trick.

SS?

WEAK!

The JIC Titanium exhaust i saw for the WRX at SEMA 01 was incredible. The whole cat-back weighed about 15lbs, give or take.

Mmmm, titanium...

Default Not yet...

...but eventually I would definitely be interested in a system like this. My budget will only permit me to do something once the car is paid off, and that's a year+ away.

I'd be VERY interested in seeing pics, hearing performance numbers, hearing about installations, and of course hearing about how they sound! My reasons for doing something like this are:

1 - performance
2 - longevity
3 - looks
4 - sound

As you can see, sound is last. A nice, subdued note is fine; however my days of loud exhausts are well behind me

Cheers from a possible future GB participant,
-wdb

DLC - Thin walled Ti is great for the race track... but for real-life driving situations, it won't last. Especially if your car is lowered, one speed bump, and you can kiss the Ti piping goodbye.

francophile - email me, I have some sound clips for a Quiet set-up on my Legacy L.

whitt - full T304SS from front to back. It's all a beefy 16 gauge T304SS. Plus there's a limited lifetime warranty, which no other manufacturer offers So you can rest assured on your investment

Hey GTBGUY, is your N/A exhaust system compliant with MA emission laws? If so, then I may be interested.

flavamost - I'm sure if they can pass the CARB sniff test, they'll pass the MA emissions standards.

Well the GB will end at the end of Febuary. I hoping that'll give everyone enough time to recover from the fundage drain of X-mas

Possibly dual tips available for a BF legacy? And would shipping be via USPS(if not, possibly)?

Bagheera85 - unfortunately this is only for BD/BG and BE/BH Legacys... I can see what I can do for the BC/BF group.

In anycase, shipping is via FedEx ground.
