I don't cause people hi-beam me in the city. Like you I only use them on the highway when there are less cars. I think they have to be dimmed at 150m like hi beams

I heard that it is illegal to have the fog lights on no matter the size of the fog light. Once you have more than two lights on up front (not including corner light) is illegal.

I only use them when raining and foggy of course.

I drive with the foglights on at night. I heard that as long as your foglights have the DOT stamped on it, its legal and I don't think there is a rule against having your foglights on. Another thing, anyone notice how A4's can have their foglights on but they don't seem to have any daytime running lights?

A4 daytime running lights ARE the foglights...and when you turn the driving lights on..the fog lights automatically turn off..but then there is a button to turn them back on so you have all four running,..they also have a rear fog light too...kinda cool..heh

I find it really really annoying how people drive around in a lit city street on a summer night with blinding foglights on. Please respect the eye pupils of others on the road.

Guys,if you got the US "foglights", then I dun see why you can't turn them on all the time. By definition, they're really driving lights. Foglights have clouded/smoked lens.

Down here, I leave my fogs on Whenever I have my headlights on, all the time It looks better.Sometimes cars flash there light but I just wave. They are facing pretty low so I dont think it is in there eyes I think they see all the lights on and assume you have your high beams on.Just my 2 cents worth
