Trust me, it WAS.

In the AM runs it seemed that every 5th run was a DNF because of people getting lost on the course.
I think that 2 of my AM runs were DNFs as well.
The PM runs were not as bad. I guess the drivers finally got used to the course after 4-5 runs.

It was not a free flowing/smooth course.

Much fun anyway.

BTW for the people that were there, who got FTD?
Was it the M coupe?
I was working the course when he hit 47.xxx, but I didn't stay for HEAT3 in the afternoon.

Do they post the results on their site?

They do normally, but not the same day, so some delay is expected. This however wasn't a point event, so I'm not sure what's the urgency to post the times from the day. Also, you can take a look at the pictures on Andy's site - i know he has taken a picture of the actual time board where they wrote down the best time for the day for each car.

No rush at all. I was just curious.

I am pretty sure the times on the board were pretty screwed up.
None of my AM runs were recorded and I didn't see anything other than my first PM run on it. I know for sure that it wasn't my best.

i didn't think the course was that bad, but there were a lot of DNFs initially. i think we had a fair amount of new people out there, plus i suppose the double gate thing isn't super common.

the m roadster had a 47 something. that guy is really good. that's the version with the e36 (240hp) motor too, not the e46 (333hp) version. (s52 vs. s54)

the 46 i think was a surprise to everybody including the driver... he was on r compounds too. the m roadster guy was all excited to get his first FTD too up til then! i was actually the one to let him know, by then it was late and people were packing up, then this guy swooped in and grabbed that time.

times will be up here once they upload them!

BTW for those who ran, there was a guy there taking pictures with a SLR cam.
There is a thread on the Windy City Miata forums.

Check it out as he likely took pics of your cars.

He had 2 of mine and he emailed them to me.
Medium res.
If you want the high res, he charges $2 ea.
