Default Grrr. Stupid plastic.

So I changed my spark plugs yesterday . . . and although it wasn't overly painful, I managed to break off the plastic tabs that retain the ignition wires on 3 out of 4 of the coils. It's not like I was yanking on the wires to get them off, either.

So now I have ghetto zap-straps to make sure my ignition wires don't vibrate off of the coils

Please tell me I'm not the only one to have done this.

I've done my plugs a handful of times... I don't see how you could've broken anything unless you were trying to pull the plastic thingies off by the wires, which you shouldn't..

I swear, I pushed the little tab to remove the wire from the coil, and it the wire came off easily . . . along with the little tab from the coil

So yeah, new wires won't help, since the tab that broke is on the coil. And I'm not buying 3 new coils just for the sake of a stupid little tab.
