Default Hybrid misfire on start up

I just put my hybrid in today. We are trying to start it up and keep getting a misfire. The timing is correct and the belt was installed properly. I have Cp pistons, eagle rods, sti HG, pnped heads, crower 272s, ferrea valvetrain, perrin rails, ultimate racing 900cc injectors, and an AEm ems stand alone. any opinions would be helpful. thanks
Ryan

I'm assuming by his sig that it is a 02 wrx with a ej257 shortblock swap. What map are you using in the AEM EMS? Are you holding Stat sync or getting ignition errors?

well five minutes after i posted i realized that the coil wires were flopped and the car started. the aem is losing sync however. i guess its called Almost Engine Management for a reason. i am running a custom map. my boss is pretty knowledgable with the aem and he put something together. yes i am using fidanza's flywheel. thanks for all the help guys.
