Have a Nice Day? Government Inspection on my car???

Thats right boys n' girls... I went to another drag race. (Was racing an Integra on the way there. It was a GS-R. Fast car and seem to have pretty good handling. Too bad it was behind me the whole time. Actually it was pretty close behind me. It just didn't have enough juice to move up.)
Got there and watched at least 10-13 races, then the cops got there and blocked off all the exits behind Minnam Racing. (I was going to asked another Impreza if he wanted to go but the cops showed up. its a blue ridge pearl rs, but he doesn't seem to be in the iclub.) Anyways, I was running around for an exit but finally got caught by the pigs. Rolled down the windows and the pig said,"I'm tired of this! Now move up and go face the PIPER!" I was like "what?!?" Then I remembered the piper story...
Anyhow, I moved up and I saw them checking the mods on every car. But, mainly on exterior light, exhaust, and suspension. Kinda felt sorry the owner of A&J Racing. (Has anyone seen his Civic Hatchback?) His civic has a spoon engine in there.. just dunno which one... and a stripped interior.
I got up the cop and he was telling me to put it in reverse, turn on my light, da..di...da...etc. Then started telling me that my exhaust was too big and I lowered my car. I was telling the cop, "what? Its just the tip of the exhaust thats big." And he goes and says that it doesn't matter. He went in his cruiser and wrote up this ticket. Comes back out and tells me that hes gonna give me a break. I have to got the a vehicle inspection facility and have my car inspected within 30 days of the inssued ticket. I there were some notes scribble at the bottom of the ticket (I think all cops have writing like chicken scratches) saying that I lowered my suspension and widenned my exhaust. Then he started giving me this crap about how his partner almost got ran over last time and blah blah blah...
Then tells me that if I failed to comply, I get a $500 ticket and render the vehicle not drivable... So I guess that means I better go...

Anyone know any rules they have when the goverment inspects your vehicle.... as in what legal and whats not. It'll be a B***H for me to take of my suspension and put the OE suspension back in....

Doesn't matter how big your exhaust is just as long as it doesn't exceed a certain sound level at a certain distance at a certain speed.

It also doesnt matter how low your car is just as long as the lowest part of your car isnt lower than the bottom of your rims.

At least those are the laws i heard about in alberta... i cant see bc being too much different.

again... this topic just finished on VCMC's mailing list. OK, here is some info that they talked about.

As long as your exhaust didn't stick out of the bumper, and didn't exist the noise level that should be fine.

Mainly the vehicle inspection is concern on the safety issue, but make sure go to a racecar friendly shop to get your car inspected. Husky on Scott Rd and 70th in Delta. Jim Binding is the owner, and Grandview Tires on 12th and Commercial. Those are referred by VCMC's list.

Angry

Yup Cops Suck!, Sorry Katsudon, I really feel for ya!.

Got my Borla muffler/ 2.25 Catback installed 3 weeks ago, The thing is really loud, almost like there was no muffler on it

Anyways got pulled over 3x in 2 weeks, I do alot of downtown city driving so I guess its more noticeable there?... they probably just hate nice cars Though I didnt get any tickets, just warnings but its still annoying getting hassled like that, so I just got a resonator welded inline. Kinda sux because I really did like the loud notes that were coming out of it.

Speaking of racing... I was talking with a couple of my friends today and they said that there is this bluish Integra Type-R that has a Stage 5 turbo in it...

At first I didn't believe it cause i thought it wasn't possible to put a turbo in a Honda car, but they all swear it's true... they said that he put a hella lot of money into it...
so I was just wondering... if this is possible

There are little firefly's and swift's with turbos...so there is nothing impossible about turboing a Honda. You can stick a turbo on a bike too if you want.
