Question Suspension

Does anyone know how the whiteline adjustable sway bar compares to, let's say the sti one or the cusco one? Also, would anyone know where i could possibly find a whiteline adjustable for a good price in vancouver? (around how much are they anyway? - do they come with all the neccessary materials?)

On another note - i'm thinking of getting new shocks and springs for my '00 rs. I was told that either the ver.5 or ver.6 would be comprable units for the price. I was also thinking of the kyb agx's - what springs would i use with these?

Anyways, my question is where i can find these in 604 and for how much - oh yeah, are they any good?

Thanks,

TMR

well...i know someone using whiteline front tower bar all along w/ sway bar...he doesn't like it very much coz the price he bought it he can get Cusco's for a little bit more...which is way better in quality...
I heard STi one is not as good as Cusco's...
I think PDM Racing carries whiteline products?

if you are going to get STi shocks...you should use OEM springs coz after market springs will kill the shocks easily just like what you have now...

if you are going to get AGX...springs choice can be Kg/mm, Tein, H&R and Eibach...Kg/mm should be the stiffer spring...Eibach drops the car a little which is not noticeable...

you can find Kg/mm springs at A&J/REV, Tein at A&J, and H&R at Bavania...
AGX you can get good deal from Minnam, A&J is a little bit more expensive but they have that in stock...(as on July 8)

I hope I can help you out...

For KYB/AGX struts, I bought mine from
http://www.p-s-t.com/kyb.html#agx

They sell them at $389US. They ship for free in the US. Try to ship them to someone you know near the canadian border and then go pick them up. I ended paying $670CDN for all 4 struts (includes GST and PST). This way you'll save the brokerage fees.

I have that luxury though... I live about 40 minutes from the border (New York and Prescott, Ontario)...

Anybody else have an opinion on Cusco vs. Whiteline? Iam in the market for a rear swaybar any day now, but can't decide on brand and on size.

Tmr, I don't know how the Whiteline compares to other bars as I have only used the one. The fact that it [Whiteline] is adjustable is what I wanted as I can change it to suit my driving style; either with the current stock suspention(18mm is good) or when I upgrade(22 is better!). I wrote up a bunch a while ago about the bar and contact info. It should cost about 185 from Don Nimi at PDM racing. Just message me if you have any more questions.
