Default OT: New Rogers Wireless Plans

Hey guys,

FYI There's some new wireless plans from Rogers, offering unlimited network calling... ie, between Rogers and Fido plans, you don't have to pay for minutes! It's unlimited!

eg-$30:
150 weekday minutes
unlimited Incoming
Unlimited network calling
1000 evenings and weekends (starting at 9)

I got my plan changed today and it's saved me about $30 for a better plan.

1-800-663-1415 Rogers Customer Service

Hope this saves you some money!!

I still have 1 year on my contract at Telus.
After that I'm bootin the hell outta Telus and changing to Fido.

I like Fido / Roger's Cell phones, and the fact that they use Sim cards.
Contracts sux

I hope Rogers gets the new Blackberry Curve soon so I can upgrade.

Not sure if you guys have heard, but you can now change cell providers and transfer your same phone number across. The announcement kind of passed with little fanfare a while ago...a lot of people don't know about it yet though.

all these rogers plans are 'ok' but there is one that i've found to be pretty awesome. $45 for 700 weekdays, unlimited evenings and weekends starting 6pm-7am and unlimited network calling. And yes, I work for Rogers haha.

He's not management...they get fired too easily He works in the business division doing Companion Wireless installations. He's worked for BC Tel/Telus since he was 18...retiring this year.

That's a retention plan as I understand. I'm on a $50 plan with 750 minutes, unlimited evenings and weekends starting at 6, by the second billing after your first minute. I also have 1000LD minutes in Canada for $5.

Retention plans ftw!

My family plan, depending how you look at it, is one of the best:

$35 for 2 phones sharing:
200 minutes
unlimited weekends and evenings (+$10 for early evenings @ 6)
and the usual stuff you get with family plans...
