Default P0852-CEL Help

I had this code pop up:

P0852 - Neutral Switch Input Circuit High

What does it mean and how do I get rid of it (cleared it but it came back)? =D

No running issues and I cannot start the car unless the clutch is engaged. No alarm installed, basically a bone stock harness.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Let me know when you find out. I've had that for a couple of years and ended up just disabling the CEL in streettuner.

was this originally a five speed?
normally you need to have the clutch in to start anyways unless you bypass the safety switch

I got that now. It is a bad switch. Replacement comes in tomorrow! There is some talk that a DRL disable can burn out this switch. Not sure I believe it yet, but I am looking.

PS: There is a TSB for this with 05 Autos.
