Oh noes! Not drilled rotors!

Slotted or blanks are more durable IMO and from what I have read.

Do the Russell have the teflon coating on the outside? At only about $100 US street, I would have gotten Goodridge myself, but u already got the Russell and I'm sure they will do the job.

On the motul, I would have gotten the RBF 600 since brake fluid is not changed very often, it works out to literally pennies more per km... the RBF600 and the Super Blue ATE is what I use... I alternate because the ATE Blue is well... BLUE... and the RBF600 is Gold so I know when clean fluid is coming through.

The Blue is actually better for the street... the 600 for a 1 day track day... since the RBF600 picks up moisture quicker and has a lower wet boiling point than the ATE Blue.

For the rotors, I wouldn't have gotten drilled... I've got blanks and I STILL got some small cracks ... if I had drilled my rotors would prob. be falling apart by now with the way I drive

I think he is talking Goodridge vs Russell lines. not vs motul fluids.

Stopping is great until your rotors crack

ok i know these rotors might crack but it comes with a paper telling you how to make it not crack. the rotors are gold because there cotted with some stuff to stop it from rusting.the whole thing rotors and pad with the gold cotting cost 900. lines and fluid cheap cause i work at lordco, also why i went with russell. right now im running some cheap rototech crap. only 100 for each rotor. crap tho!

I guess for the bling effect, cross-drill + slots is the way to go. I went with the Motul 5.1 since the RBF600 picks up moisture more and could potentially need to be changed earlier. Had Goodridge SS lines for what seems like ages and now running on Brembo blanks & HPS Hawk - the pads are good so far, haven't got a chance to wash wheels yet

On those rotors the gold on the disc part will rub off fast and you will only have the hub part left coated, the discs will still rust if left wet (which will also rub off next time you brake.
