If we get enough people I think we can take our "list" to different dealers and end up with a great deal.

I don't know, I'm not in the market for a new car, especially not another Subaru. Contact SOA and get a list of all the dealers in Florida and then pit them against one another. Keep in mind that the WRX is a popular car and if they don't sell it to you at below invoice or without the dealer fee it's because someone that WILL pay that is going to come along tomorrow and scoop it up. Good luck buying your bastard EVO X/Focus ST baby.

I just got a call yesterday from a Subaru dealership in Central FL. I had ordered a 2014 WRX which I canceled once I saw the 2015. I would like to shop around the state of FL to find the best deal. Frankly, with 3.9% financing and $900 dealer fee I feel we can do better than that especially if we can present a list of buyers to a dealer.

I will post about this on the 2015 WRX order thread also. Frankly, if no dealer wants to give us a better deal I will just wait till VIP pricing opens up for the new WRX because there is no way I'm leaving 2K on the table because I rush to be first.

So, there are two of us on our FL GROUP BUY list so far so please let me know if you want to be included in a it and I can do the leg work so we can all benefit. With numbers we increase our buying power.

To make sure we don't break any rules I will not mention details in this thread until we build up the list.

Me too, I got a VW GTI and Id rather not get robbed at trade in lol. There are ALOT of dealerships to work with and all we need is one to agree. But...we need more people to give them a bigger incentive.

Update: local dealer in Central FL is agreeing, so far...could get better, invoice price, invoice options, $600 dealer fee, and beating the 3.9% by at least 1%.

Honestly Im a bit shocked, apparently nobody in FL is interested in the new WRX?

Come on guys...lol :OP

Glad to report we have another interested person, he will post soon but that makes...

Rajalucy, we might want to edit the title of this thread to expand further out than just south Florida. Maybe call it, FL GROUP BUY (GA/AL welcome)? Also once #3 post's his screen name please edit the first post and list our names:

1)rajalucy
2) redeemed77
3) etc etc etc

Come on people....as a group we have a better chance for a great deal than individually so if you know anyone that wants to buy the new WRX please let them know about this.

Also, if you are in GA/AL the drive wouldn't be that long so if you are interested let us know.

Its good to see that the group concept will bring us the best deal, which makes sense. Fred will get his chance to make an offer but his dealer fee is $100 too high from the best offer so far...and we are barely trying yet lol.

I like the idea of extended warranties but unless its a national warranty or statewide, since the buyers will be coming from different areas, it might not be a effective tool to sell us on going through them. Still...its good to see the offers coming in.

If we can get 5-10 I think we will all end up with great deals! I wish it was 20-30 but so far the reception is a bit slow.

I wonder if we need a new thread if you cant edit the title of this thread.

Good comment, thats plan B. Thats how I present it to the dealers:

"Listen, I can wait and get VIP or you can match it now and I buy today"

Lol, but with less "ass" sounding tone lol

With that club you have to wait 6 months so if this does not pan out I will go with plan B. So far, we are only like $600 from VIP price so if we present several buyers I bet we can get a dealer to match VIP.

Good input, for those who don't want to buy it soon.
