Default Any word on GReddy headers for 98-01 RS?

I was lookin around the GReddy website and saw that they have a listing for headers for the 98-01 RS. All of the info was TBA, and I did a search here, and it was mentioned back in April. Is there any new word on these headers?

Thanks,
Jim

I believe they gave up on these with the introduction of the WRX to the states. I am not sure though. It has been a while though and I wouldn't hold your breath.

I emailed GReddy last month.. I got a reply of We dont have anything in production, we are finding out how big of a demand is.. Also the WRX is going to be out main choice.

They did make a boat load more WRX's than they did impreza;s

Peace
Richie

WRXs are Imprezas. I'd be down for some Greddy headers.

As much as I'd like to see this header, I don't think it'll happen. Like they said, the WRX is a much higher volume vehicle. The GC8 RS had a maximium anual production of just over 2000 units, while the first run of WRXs was 10,000. They sold out so quickly that Subaru has decided to make more. The #s say it all, unfortunately.

but what you fail to realize is that there is still a 2.5 RS out there. a freind who runs a performance shop says that greddy is rumored to be working on a turbo kit for our cars as well.

Here's a response to an email I sent them about the headers:

Thanks for your interest in GReddy Products
We do not have any specifics to release yet, but it will be a full stainless
steel tubular header.
Please keep in touch with your favorite Authorized Greddy dealer for more
updates. http://greddy.com/dealers/

Well, at least it sounds like they are going to go ahead with them. Hope it dosen't take too long.
