Okay guys, to top off the stupidity list of questions.
What are the sizes for windshield wipers? something like 18 and 21 right? I went to the dealer and got a set, and one is shorter than the other, and I am assuming the shorter on goes on the drivers side.... You guys can slap me for this one... ![]()

Shorter one goes on the passenger side.

Thanks Andy,
(sniff) oooh, the the fragrance of a sturgeon in the morning. mmm. Andy, I agree. Following those damn 18-wheelers kicking up all that muck, new blades help. But the sand sure doesn't do any justice to our body paint. Sushi anybody? ![]() |

Just got my wipers replaced last week. They are some nifty Japanese brand and the metal parts are titanium. Longer side for driver, shorter for passenger. We actually got rain yesterday here in Cali and they worked quite nicely. They have this little fin that catches air at speed and puts more pressure on the wiper which wipes the window better. $30 for the pair. Not too shabby.

Titanium? Really? Wow, the ones I had on were metal, but the ones I got recently were all plastic.... cutting down costs.... I guess.

Same here my wipers do not lay on the window very well. Who makes the ones you bought?

I replaced all of mine (with the 'decent' shucks brand) and was happy with the results on the front, but the rear *sucks*.... it does not flex enough to get my whole rear window (which has quite a curve to it).
A PS - C'mon, sturgeon = CAVIAR, not sushi! ![]() |

The company that makes it is called Intec. I got mine at Suby Specialties which is a local subie shop. here's a pic (sorry it's so big). I should also mention that the wiper had to be broken in, it took one good storm before it cleaned well.

I knew someone was selling these a while back. A bunch of guys ran him off with the RICER crap. I wanted a pair then, but I could never get him to contact me.http://www.i-club.com/forums/showthr...itanium+wipers

I bought 'em for asthetic reasons. I like how the silver works with the silver on my car. Plus, the stock black ones were flaking.
some people would call 'em ricey, but in the end I say do what you want with your car. -S |

Hey monovich
I think they look very nice! Now that they're broken in ... are you happy with them? Very tempted to add them to my legacy ... and add some contrast .. Charlie ![]() |

maybe just try calling Suby Specialties and see if they can sell you some or point you in the right direction.
subyspecialties.com -s oops. Forgot to mention that they do work much better now that they are broken in. I used 'em last night and my windows were squeegee clean. In the beginning I was worried because they were super-noisy and didn't clean well, but I think that is 'cause the rubber was stiff and hadn't formed to the windshield. |

Yeah, it's sorta like I already have rims, exhaust, and tint on AN OUTBACK. I get enough ribbing from the impreza folk as it is. I'll stick with the stock looking blades.
The ricers around here love the car though. "Yo yo dude that be a tight ride!" ![]() |
