Unless you plan on painting the grill trim and emblem blaze yellow to match, I'd say get rid of the honeycombs.

If we're all entitled to an opinion, I don't like the shiny silver grill look. I think they make the car look cheesy. I painted my screens (gutter guard) flat black. Protects the radiator without looking cheesy. But tonnes of folks go for the shiny silver grill look. Whatever floats your boat.

All good replys. The honeycomb kind of helps to hold the gutter guard in place. I agree it might look better if done right without the honey comb. But they way I did it I will prpbably leave it in.

As for paint. I was going to paint it this kind of light blue color. I thought it would look nice. But i see the gril as something that I want to protect my car as well as make it look better. I like the look. Painting it black or blue means you really can not see the grill.

As for the honeycomb. Do you guys think that I could paint it blaze yellow and it would look good. I will probably get the c-west body kit next summer. The lower lip side skirts and the rear under spoiler.

Did you buy expanded steel or use a grill kit from something else to do that? How much $ ? - Looks sweet, but I do agree that maybe you could try to paint the honeycomb the same color as the grill insert!?

Later
