Default Will an STI exhaust fit on my 02 WRX?

I've been searching the forums and no one gives any definitive answers.

If I buy an STI catback exhaust, will it fit on my 02 WRX with no problems?

Is it 2.5" piping?

Don't bother with the midpipe, your stock on is the same diameter. Just buy the axleback if you can.

The piping is about 60mm, 2.4"' (A little under that actually). We jsut call it 2.5 to make ourselves feel better!

I just want the nicer sound. I'm not going for any power gains, so all I have to get is the sti axleback. The sti midpipe wont add to the sound?

Dude, you're not searching right. Every thread you start says "I searched" but it's for ridiculously common questions. Use the search button in the blue bar, not the Google search bar. Hit advanced search for more searching options.

Honestly, do you start a thread every time you don't see your question on the front page?

It bolts up perfectly.

Edit: I just tried "sti muffler wrx" and got SOOO many answers. The very first thread that comes up answers your question.
