Some questions about installing JDM coilovers

I heard that the process isn't that difficult, but I'd like to know what exactly is involved... a search didn't come up to with a "how to" so i'm kind of lost. I am mechanically inclined, but have never really messed with installing coilovers. I plan on getting it all professionally aligned, but I figure if i can save myself on some labor with just a few hours on my back, I might as well.

Also, I happened to have purchased JDM coilovers which, I'm assuming, compensate for the driver being on the right side... should I bias the dampening on the coilovers or is it something I shouldn't worry about? Or is there something else I can do?

not even tips on just installing coilovers?
