Post Ontario - Vehicle Inspection

Hey guys,
I just moved from the province of Alberta to Ottawa, and it seems in order for me to have my vehicle registered, I need my car inspected. It's still fairly new (Oct'99) '00 2.5RS.
Any of you know if the local dealers here will do the inspection and give you the certificate? Otherwise I'd be charged $60 - $90 for an inspection that doesn't make sense.

Thanks

Foz

They set up the years that were to do this. You'd have to bring it to a "DriveClean" authorized mechanic.

Foz,

Is that what they said at the Ministry. I thought since you have a new vehicle (less than 3 years old), you didn't need one but I'm not sure...

There's no drive clean in Ottawa yet... That's in southern Ontario only. We're not tested yet...

I'll post it on our egroups mailing list.
