Default MadDad(TM) Velocity V2 Header/Uppipe

This header/uppipe combo had a popularity increase once people fully realized the benefit of having a pre-fitted EGT bung and the better spool of the MadDad(TM) exclusive 45mm velocity stack in the uppipe(all other similiar offerings use a 48mm velocity stack) giving better spool and a broader torque curve. We've got another pallett of these coming in the tail end of June(possible first week of July) and this is the last chance to buy a set at $449.95. In addition wer're extending FREE ground freight. Just hit the forums and ask anyone how they like their MadDad(TM) V2 Header/Uppipe.

$449.95 uncoated
$649.85 with a ceramic coating. Note we coat the inside and out. Twice each. The inner coat and outter coat are applicatoin specific and warranteed direct through Daddy's/MadDad(TM)

Take advantage now and save on what is arguably the best unequal length header available.

One of my last few posts before closing down for a vacation week. FYI, the headers will be delivered to us on Monday the 16th. They would be here this monday if we weren't closed for vacation. Just if you were thinking about this now is the time. $449.95 and free shipping is just down right silly. Your going to see $499 and no free shipping after this pre-order/pre-arrival deal is done.

Have a good week and happy driving...

Is it me or is the maddad website having issues...specifically with listing their products and allowing orders?

Well nuts... I guess you can't order the V2 headers now at the above prices. Does anyone know if the gaskets that come with the header are port matched?

I ordered this back in the middle of June. I hope the coating does add a lot of extra time to the delivery.

Can't wait to get this thing so I can get tuned. Even at $499 plus shipping this is a steal of a deal.

Site was back up and running on the 16th - no it wasn't a planned shut down. I have no issues with letting the website gathers orders while we're away. It went down because we forgot to due our monthly maintenance on the database and we unded up going over our storage limit was hosed the up the shopping cart database. Nothing was lost, but there wasn't any way to order.

Everyone that had an uncoated header probably has them in their hands by now. Coated headers will be done at the coater most likey this Friday or coming Monday.

All4bSpinnin - I think I hit you with the photo on another forum . Here is an OLD sound clip. My car from two years ago(back when we used the 48mm velocity stack). The sound is no different with the 45mm velocity stack so this should do. Sound will vary with particular downpipes and catbacks of course.

Audio/Video - Whisper Turboback with MadDad Header/Uppipe - Sounds like some boxer rumble

It's not too late to get an order in. No lines and no wait on an uncated unit. Coated will have to wait for the next batch. The $449 shipped runs only till the end of this month so you've got 5 days left.

just went for a ride in a local's car with the maddad header...

sounds great on the sti, he ran into some problems on the instal...

the uppipe studs are to long and needed to be cut, and the EGT bung on the uppipe didnt have bolt to block the 02 sensor hole for the sti's...

but other than that the car had a lot more torque... very nice

Default Plugs sizes for MadDad Header

Guys,

Sorry for not having plugs to pack in when these things were ready to ship. For easy reference here you go:

Uppipe plug: M12 X 1.25 pitch - you can find this in the oil drain plug section of any autoparts store for about $2.00 - the exact part# is for a Motormite(Doorman) 65263, which is the correct length. Autozone, Advanced Autoparts, Consumer Auto, and just about everyone else carries these.

If you are not using an EGT gauge you can plug the EGT bung with a 1/8" NPT plug. This can also be found at any local autoparts store, typically in the section where they have packaged bolts/nuts, washers.

In regards to the uppipe studs packed in the bottom studs can often hit the downpipe flange on the opposite side. If you run into this simply reverse the bottom studs. The studs are prepacked from our manufacturer and they are the closes size(length wise) they have available. However, flipping those bottom studs typically does the trick.
