Syms, do you think its possible that you can hook me up with the dealership that sold you your White 2000 2.5RS? Coz for 24,750, its a steal compared to 27000 which is the lowest that the dealership in Winnipeg will lower to. I'm really mad and would like to get my hands on an Impreza. Can you give me some of the information plz? Thnx.

What about the other dealers? Even if it's like an hour away I would try them. If they don't have the color they can trade with out of province dealers and have it box cared to Winnipeg within 2 weeks. Mine came in from Alberta no charge. You should be able to get one for like $29,000 out the door (assuming 14% tax) for a MY00 since the 01's are due in real soon, maybe even cheaper.

Check out http://www.autobytel.ca

Give your area, and they'll find an accredited dealership for you. They will give you a "no haggle" price. You can use that as a baseline to find out how much you are getting "ripped". Chances are you can do a bit better than the Autobytel price. I couldn't beat it when I used it. So it's not a bad service - hey it's free so it can't hurt to try it!

Good luck.

Stupid Frontier giving us the MSRP as their lowest price ;P Wut the hell? actually, it 5 bucks over the MSRP! They selling it originally for 28595, and lower it to 27000 at their lowest. Argh, it's year end, it should fall between 25500-26500 AT LEAST! I'm considering getting one from a dealer in Vancouver and having it transported to my garage. Winnipeg only has one dealer, so he's being a jack off for competition. Help me out plz!

Hi Avenger, can you hook me up with your dealer? Wuts the tax in Vancouver? It's 14% here in Winnipeg. Right now, I'm going to be ordering from Vancouver most likely, just a matter of which dealer. If anyone can hook me up with a nice dealer willing to offer a deal similar to your guys, plz

I think most people here will agree with me...maybe not..but personally...I don't think Richmond Subaru was is very good..their customer service is $hit....I went to Don Docksteader and they had great customer service..and services were great too...or else you can try Specialty in North Van...I hear nothing but great comments about them...=0)

Don't buy your car in Richmond.. The sales person don't even know jack about their car they are selling.. Then I went to dondocksteader and they are very cool and know what they are doing.. Even service is very good.. even though I wouldn't not go there anymore unless I have big problems that are covered under warrenty.. That is because I work at a garage.. BlueBeat
if you want to e-mail me it's jackknifez@yahoo.com Good luck with your purchase!! Money well spent!

There is a Suby dealer in Regina, but I'm not sure if they are part of the Autobytel chain. I looked into buying thru an Autobytel dealer in Calgary for my 99RS, but they didn't have on in Rally Blue. I ended up buying mine at Frontier, $25750 before taxes, came with the Impreza floor mats, but was being driven by the salesman. It had 2000 Km on it. I was not at all happy with the deal I made, like you I thought the salesmanager is an a$$, but the guys in the service/parts area are pretty cool. They have no problem with making mods to the car, they will even install them for you.

BTW - They included a certificate with the car for a free gift if you referred someone to them who buys a car. I sent a buddy down who bought a Forrester, when I went to collect my "gift", it was a box of chocolates. Big freakin deal!
