Default Sup all! New Subie owner here in Philly Burbs area! Have a few questions...

Whats up everyone? Im Rob from Glenside PA, have been lurking around the forums in awaiting of my 02 WRX, finally picked it up on monday and am already planning out what i want to get done to it.... I hae a 02 Midnight black pearl WRX with a slushbox :P
Its fast and im LOVING it to death.... First thing i plan on getting is my windows tinted, KN filter, then an exhaust system.. Im going to wait to get rims until the summer time. Is this a good way to go?? Im really confused as to all this uppipe, downpipe and stuff. Im wondering if I do go aftermarket Exhaust, What is the BEST system i can get for around 700-800 dollars? somthing that sounds good and adds some good HP.. Will this totally void my warranty or will i be able to switch back to stock when needbe??? Can i pass inspection? Does anyone know anybody good in the area where i could get this installed?? I dont want to screw anything up and have some no-name mechanic do the work.... Also, are there any reliability issues when going with the aftermarket pipe? Isint the engine specifically tuned to be using those 4 cats and if 2 are removed when putting the exhaust in isint that kind of messing with the stock settings??? Im reall sorry for all the questions, ive done search after search and have taken in a LOT of info, Just need to ask these few specific questions so that i know where to proceed. Also, has anyone done any business with IMPO PERFORMANCE located in ivyland PA? they seem to know a lot about turbo cars, but not many people here locally know much about WRX's yet THanks a lot for the help all, i REALLY REALLY appreciate it! Its great to have a place like this to be able to get the right help!

Default black WRX in genside

were you in Best buy at noonish on wensday if so I saw you drive around the parking lot?

I work in ft. washington.
I have a black WRX wagon and my co-worker just got a black WRX sedan.

When you get the exahust let me know I would like to hear it before I purchase one.

I need to hear in a car before I buy. I spent two years with 2-baffel flowmasters on a mustang and that was painful. Now I want to hear before I buy.

I got My windows tinted by Smoking Mo's in pendel
He did a very good job. I put 20% on the back windows and 50% on the driver and passenger. I am very happy with the new tinted black look.

Is that tint you have really dark enough hehe? give it a really slick look?? Id like to come checkout your car sometime and see how it looks before i get that tint if you wouldent mind. No problem with the exhaust, i have 320 miles on the car now, and am waiting till i hit 1k miles until i grab the exhaust. Whats the number for the tint place?? thanks a lot for the info man, Heres my email if you wanna meetup sometime and i can take a look at how your tint looks with the color we have:

Good to see other people from my area. I'm actually in Ardsley same zipcode tho.
The only reliable place that I used recently closed down. That was Rallispec in Cherry Hill. They were awesome. I miss them
That Accurit dude and his chick have been peddling their crap here for a few months(just kidding) I haven't heard anything about them good or bad. There is also Tri Tuning that is up in Belthlehem (I think) They have had mostly good things said about them. Just watch out for the little salesguy who talks too much:P
As far as anyone else I think you would mostly be a test dummy for them so be careful. Scoobies are real new to the popular tuner world.

what's up Rob...it's frank from toll bros (work w/ your mom). if you ever want to see my tint, just drop by toll's parking lot. i have 20% all around....got it done at bux-mont detailing on country line road (across from bertucci's brick oven pizza) for like $200 if i remember correctly. I live in Warminster, so if you ever want to get together and talk rexes let me know. I had my previous car's windows done at smokin moe's and he does a good job as well (he's located on business route one about 5 minutes past neshaminy mall). As for Accurit Performance, he has a lot of stuff and is a stand up guy...im him if you need anything.

BTW Bunny....i finally got the ring and gave it to erica last night, so next time we see you and Phil you CAN say something. When he said that at BK last weekend i thought she would have got the hint, but she was completely surprised.
