Default Isn't this a "void your warranty" card?

Found this today:

Quote:
To kick this SCR-SCCA relationship off, Fairway Subaru is offering SCCA members 10% off on parts and service. To qualify for this discount you must show your SCCA Membership Card at time of pick-up (for parts) or write-up (for service). ...Again, you must present your SCCA Membership Card at time of write-up.

So really what this is, is a "we will void your warranty card?"

Don't be ridiculous, being a member of an organization has nothing to do with your warranty.

There's a difference between being an SCCA member & racing your Subaru, but I'm not suprised you can't figure that out given your posts in the transmission thread you started...

Subaru uses to give everybody that bought a WRX or STi a free one year membership, I dont think they voided all of those warranties. Maybe they would rather have you race on a track rather than the street.

Considering the SCCA membership costs $60-85/year, what are the membership benefits that would making being a member worthwhile if you aren't going to race your car.

I'd venture to say alot of people own more then one car. For instance you could race a 944 on the weekends and daily drive a wrx/STI...thus you have a membership and dont race your subaru.

Of course not. Subaru used to include 1 year free SCCA membership when you purchased a WRX - maybe that has changed?
