Just threw a code in mommy's98.. is there ANYWAY to pull it without a dealer or scanner? Can I get a scanner at like a PePBoys?

That's one of the few good things about obd2 is that there is a standard plug and codes for all cars. It can be read by the same scanner for all current cars. My wife had a code in her explorer and we borrowed a friend's reader who uses it for their toyota...
