Blouch Dom III turbo

Default Blouch Dom III 04 STI

Since there arent a whole lot of dyno results about this turbo I thought I would share mine. First off my mods are:
Blouch Dom III turbo with 3" inlet
Ultimate Racing uppipe w/ 44mm tial ewg
txs stealthback exhaust
apexi avc-r
perrin inlet
perrin big maf
perrin fuel rails w/ modded injectors
aps tgv deletes
walbro fuel pump
ssac fmic
tial bov
ACT 6 puck race clutch w/ prolite flywheel

I dynoed at 380hp and 350tq at 20psi. I plan on getting headers and meth injection within a couple months and that should put me easily in the 400's. Heres a video for your enjoyment

btw... b4 someone asks, the grill is off because im in the middle of doing the pillar mod

damn. I have almost the same exact setup( only difference is stock fuel rails, I have headers, and aps inlet). I am finishing up putting in the act 6 puck tomorrow, and then I will be getting it tuned in the next couple weeks. What kind of dyno were you tuned on, and is it a 7cm or 8cm exhaust side, and what about the inlet (aps?)

i have a bloush dom. III with these mods:
tial ewg
aquamist meth50/50
perrin equal length header
txs fmic
tgv deletes
im running a utech speed density anda ecutec reflah
aps inlet ( perrin inlet hose collapsed at 18psi)
tial bov
apexi worldclass exhaust
exedy stage 1 clutch
850 injectors

i put down 402awhp on pump gas and it had plenty more, i didnt want to go over that becouse right now im still running a stock block. that was running 23 psi. im hoping once i get my block done it will get me 440-450 awhp

this was on a dd dyno.and a great tune. it pulled all the way to redline its amazing how linear this car is.it doesnt hit real real hard but take a look down and your somewhere north of 150mph real quick

So for exhaust your running just the txs stealth w/ stock axle back? If you are that's impressive. I'm thinking of going stealth for a stage 2 protune.
Nothing like a sleeper kill!

well this turbo is comparable to the element gt52 and that retails at 1900.

and yes I do have a stock axleback and im more that happy with sound so I think ill keep the exhaust the way it is.

im running an apexi world class which is probably the quitest exhaust there is outside stock and it is only 2 1/2" not 3" ..there was no performance loss at all with the 2 1/2" compared to the 3"...i know in theory there should have been but there wasnt.

I have the DOM III and my old tune put down 402whp and 382wtq on 93oct @ 24psi.(dyno sheet are posted somewhere on this site). My current tune is 380whp and 414wtq on 93oct @ 24psi.(only change was changed out Typhoon intake for Cobb 70mm intake because I maxed out the MAF in cold weather.) The extra 32wtq makes a huge difference for Auto-x and my torque curve is nice and wide and flat at the top.

Thanks for starting this thread orion. I'm happy to see that you and yoyoman are willing to put out big #'s with a 2 1/2" AB. Very nice setup btw.
My friend thinks all sti owners are 19 and drive around with loud melon shooters on the back. He calls my car rice with the mad dad catback. I liked it at 1st, but I'd like it to be closer to stock.(sleeper)
I'm def rethinking my plans for the fall now.
Congrats and thanks for sharing.

I think once I get a ceremic coated header and my meth kit my torque curve will be a lot better.

Default spool

the peak tq rpm is NOT where the turbo spools. You have to see the boost curve to tell that. I hit peak tq @ 4400 rpm. I hit full boost, 24psi, @ ~3750RPM. That is where the full spool comes from.
