Post Just bought a 2000 2.5 RS coupe, LONG

I live in Scarborough, I went with the Metallic Red to be different. Still have not had a chance to really drive it hard, only 1200 K since last Thursday. It drives much nicer than my old Integra. The cornering overall drive ability is much better. The engine is so sweet sounding, does anyone know where I can get a 2000 drop in K&N filter, I would like the engine to sound nicer.

I was driving about 140 in the rain on Sat. on the 401 it held the road amazingly. All honda's I have found have the same flaw the front wheels just spin in the rain/snow, when you try to drive it hard.

What I test drove, the new prelude, Audi A4 1.8T, Nissan Maxima 2000 SE, another Integra GS-R and the Imprezza. I enjoyed the Imprezza the best it is fun to drive cornered better than all of the others, and had the most comfortable seats, (I work out and find most seats to small in the back).

Welcome Gmonkey,

I think you will find nothing but support here for your purchase. We all had our own reasons and appreciate you sharing yours with us.

BTW, I agree about your comment on the seats. My wife has a Y2K Legacy, and I like the Impreza seats even better. To bad ours don't come with heated seats like the Legacy. Heated seats are very nice on LONG drives. The warmth keeps your lower back nice and limber after hours of sitting.

Cheers,
MB

Yeah I agree with Markus...I have an ImprezaTS and a Jetta GLS with heated seats They are awesome!!! Too bad Imprezas don't have them but then again its a performance car not a luxury family car
