Cool! What kind of Porsche do you have?

I would post pics from our local meet, but we weren't allowed to take photos. (Seriously.)

No pictures?

You should get a 914 that belches smoke and has giant VOLKSWAGEN stickers on the side and bring that to the next meet. Sounds like they're a bunch of stuck up prudes.

No, seriously, these were our instructions:

Quote:
no pictures are to be taken while visiting the collection. It is also very important, because the cars in the Ingram Collection are not roped off, that people do not touch or open any of the cars. Additionally, the Collection management asks that people be cognizant of buttons, belt buckles and purses around the cars.
Our last meet was at the private collections of one of the top Porsche collectors in the world. He stores 35 or so of some of the rarest, finest Porsches in existence. Some have only 35 miles on them, others are drive more often. Some in special colours, 4 Manhattan trophy winners and a a couple that are the only car of their kind. It's not marked, or open to the public, but we got to go in with a PCA event. It's the ultimate playroom - cars, a full bar, giant couches, giant TVs, etc. It's stunning. He has one of the original 356s, and some seriously badass cars. And, he just got two new ones last week - a Ferrari F40 and the Ferrai F430. This is his side business now, but he's the retired CEO of Glaxxo: http://www.theaircooledguys.com/Home...6/Default.aspx

We actually have our local charity concours there again on 6/23.

Hey, nothing wrong with a good ol' VW H4. Those things live forever and are so easy to fix it's crazy.
